1.0 Principle of Permalloy Magnetic Shielding

  • Magnetic shielding characteristics of Permalloy is based on the high permeability characteristics of it.‌ Permalloy is a material with high magnetic permeability.When an external magnetic field acts on Permalloy, magnetic field lines are more likely to pass through the low magnetic resistance material. So that a magnetic flux bypass is formed to avoid the impact of interference sources on protected circuits.
  • In addition, alternating interference magnetic flux will form the eddy currents inside the conductive shielding layer, and the eddy current effect will reduce the strength of the external magnetic field.
  • The magnetic shielding components are produced with Permalloy material and manufacture processes such as stamping and high-temperature heat treatment.
  • It cause the product have high magnetic permeability and extremely low coercivity, enabling it to have excellent magnetic shielding and anti-interference ability in weak magnetic fields

2.0 Application of Permalloy Magnetic Shielding

Due to the excellent shielding and mechanical properties of Permalloy shielding components,it is widely used in fields such as electronic devices, communication equipment, and automotive electronics.

It is suitable for various electromagnetic applications, such as transformers, precision sensors, flux gate transformers, etc
